The NPP Branch Chairman in South Korea, Mr. Zinleri Richard, called on the Ghanaian government to expedite action in starting the capturing and registering of all Ghanaians in the Diaspora, particularly South Korea for the Ghana Card.

He said this during an interview with Kwaku Dawuro on Wontumi Radio and Movement TV on the new Ghana card registration.

The registration deadline is July 31, 2022, yet some Ghanaians in the Diaspora are yet to be captured.

Mr. Zinleri bemoaned that if Ghanaians in the diaspora personal information is not captured they may lose out on several social, economic and political benefits.

“The Ghana Card makes it easy to prove your identity or citizenship. Your inability to establish your identity in future could make life difficult for you in Ghana since government policy seeks to formalize the economy. With the Ghana Card, accessing social services such as Health, Education, Communications, Insurance, banking etc would be safer, easier and faster,” he stated.
